Total Teaching Hours per day: 5 hours 20 minutes
Children are in school for 32.5 hours per week.
Our daily schedule
Breakfast Club: We have a chargeable breakfast club which is open for registration from 07:30am - 08:10am each day and costs only £1.05 per child per day. This is then followed by the free breakfast club which is open for registration 08:10am - 08:50am. Any children from Nursery – Year 6 are welcome to attend. The children will be supervised until 8:50 when they will be taken to their classrooms by staff. Breakfast club places should be booked 24 hours in advance
School opening time: Our school doors open at 8:40am so that your children can be settled in class and ready to begin learning at 8.50am prompt. We ask parents and carers to make sure that children are at school in good time each day as this helps to create a calm start to the day for your child.
Morning Break: Children have a morning break supervised by our staff.
Lunchtime: Lunch time is 12:00-1:00 each day for KS1 and 12:15 - 1:15 for KS2. Children in Nursery have their lunch at 11:30-13:00.
Collective Worship: This is held Monday - Thursday at 09:00am for all children. We have our Good News worship each Friday morning at 9:00am.
School closing time: Nursery children should be collected at 3:15pm from the Nursery building. Reception and Year 1 children to be collected from the library entrance. Year 2 to Year 6 children to be collected from the front school entrance.

We ask all parents and carers to be considerate to our neighbours and to consider the safeguarding of our children when parking safely and well away from the school gates.
The road is clearly marked with zig-zag lines and there is usually plenty of parking a very short walk away from the gates on Overdale.
School Office hours
The school reception is open at the following times:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
PUPILS SHOULD NOT ARRIVE ON SITE IN THE MORNING BEFORE 7:30AM FOR SAFETY REASONS.

We request where possible you arrange appointments for your children out of school hours, as these can be very disruptive to the school day.
